Explorian

When my previous Vitamix (also purchased from Raw Blend) was due to be updated I looked at what was available and chose the Explorian and it has proved to be a great choice. Breakfast smoothies have been my morning companions for many years and the Explorian does them beautifully. All my food prep tasks that require a high performance blender have also been handled to perfection. Highly recommended and a great price.

Do yourself a "flavour"

Don't hesitate like I did. Use the payment options available if necessary and add this to your kitchen bench. The first think I made was some hummus from the recipe book. Took just minutes and tasted exceptional. Warm water, one drop of detergent and thirty seconds later my Vitamix was clean! I'm still exploring all the possibilities but love it. It can be noisy on the high end speeds, but since it doesn't need long before you end up with your soup, smoothie, dip etc I think we can live with that. It works so well my husband has decided I don't have to hesitate to purchase the dehydrator now :)

Excellent blender

We purchased the vitamix primarily to make veggie smoothies, and it works better than I expected. In about 40 seconds you can turn a bunch of greens into a delicious drink. Also I found that it makes mashed sweet potatoe in about the same time!
